İstanbul Bikers (İstanbul Bisikletçileri) organized
the 4th Bikers Fest on 29 April 2001, in line with the concept ‘leave the cars, ride
your bikes’. Bikers from all ages were invited to participate to this tour, was held
during the activities to commemorate National Sovereignty Week and celebrate the 81th
Anniversary of the Turkish National Assembly (TBMM) foundation.
More than 2000 İstanbul Bikers ride for 14 kilometers
(approximately 10 miles) on Yeşilyurt-Yeşilköy-Florya-Menekşe-Kanarya route thru
closed traffic to cars during the occasion.
